Terms of Service

Last updated: June 29, 2026. These Terms cover Ready Already accounts, generated books, book credits, payments, safety, and support. By using the Service, you agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

Section 1

The Service

Ready Already helps adults create personalized early-reader books from information they provide, such as a reader's name or nickname, known words, reading stage, and story ideas.

The Service currently focuses on digital books that can be viewed, saved, read, reread, and managed inside Ready Already web, native app, or installable app experiences. Downloads, exports, sharing links, printing, or other formats are available only when the Service shows them for a specific book or account, and those features may change over time.

Ready Already uses software systems, including AI, to help make book text, illustrations, layouts, and related content. Content made this way may be imperfect, unexpected, inaccurate, or similar to content made for other users.

Ready Already is not a school, tutor, medical service, educational diagnostician, or substitute for professional reading instruction. The Service is intended to support reading practice and confidence, not to guarantee any specific educational outcome.

Section 2

Who May Use the Service

The Service is intended for adults, including parents, guardians, teachers, tutors, homeschool families, and other adults helping readers practice.

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live, to create an account, make purchases, or accept these Terms.

Children may use the reading experience only with permission and supervision from a parent, legal guardian, teacher, tutor, or other authorized adult. Children may not create accounts, make purchases, contact support, or submit personal information through the Service without appropriate adult involvement.

If you use the Service on behalf of a child, student, classroom, tutoring client, organization, or other person, you represent that you have the right and authority to do so.

Section 3

Accounts

You may need an account to create books, save books, access your library, make purchases, or use certain features.

You agree to provide accurate and current account information and to keep your sign-in credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account.

If you believe your account has been accessed without permission, contact us promptly.

We may refuse, suspend, or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, create risk for the Service, or are used in a way that could harm Ready Already, other users, children, or third parties.

Section 4

Child Safety and Personal Information

Because the Service is used to create books for children and beginning readers, you agree to submit only the information reasonably needed to create a book.

You should use a first name, nickname, or fictional name instead of a child's full legal name if you do not want that full name used in the Service.

Do not submit sensitive information about a child or reader unless it is necessary for your use of the Service and you have the legal right to provide it. This includes, but is not limited to:

  • full legal names when a nickname would work;

  • home addresses;

  • school names;

  • birthdates;

  • phone numbers;

  • precise location information;

  • medical, disability, or diagnosis information;

  • government identification numbers;

  • private family information;

  • photos, videos, or audio of children unless a feature specifically asks for them and you have the right to provide them.

You are responsible for reviewing generated books before sharing them with children or others.

If you see content that seems unsafe, inappropriate, incorrect, or concerning, contact us through the support form.

Section 5

Book Credits

The Service uses book credits for one-time book creation and related book-generation actions inside Ready Already. Book credits are a non-cash in-app credit.

Book credits are used only inside the Service.

Current book credit usage:

  • 1 book credits = 1 new book

  • 1 book credits = make another book like one you just finished

Book credits are not money, stored cash, cryptocurrency, a gift card, a bank balance, or a general-purpose payment method. Book credits have no cash value, are not redeemable for money, and may only be used inside the Service.

Book credits are non-transferable unless we provide a specific transfer or sharing feature.

Book credits are spent only when a book request is accepted by the Service. If a book request fails before a book is created or saved, the credits for that failed start will be returned automatically.

If a book is successfully created and saved, the credits for that request are spent, even if you later decide not to read, use, or share that book.

We may change one-time book credit package sizes, book costs, regeneration costs, promotions, or included features in the future. Changes apply going forward and do not change completed purchases or completed book requests.

Unused book credits are non-refundable except where required by law or where we choose to make an exception.

Section 6

Purchases and Payments

One-time book credit purchases are one-time purchases unless we clearly state otherwise.

Ready Already subscriptions renew until canceled. We present the subscription price, billing interval, included book allowance or plan features, and checkout details before you subscribe. A subscription is not required to buy book credits unless we clearly state otherwise.

A subscription gives you the book allowance and features shown for that plan. Unless a plan expressly says otherwise, subscriptions do not provide unlimited books, unlimited generation, or unlimited retries; extra books may require book credits, another plan, or a separate purchase.

Subscription prices, included allowances, plan names, and available features may change for future terms, future renewals, or new signups. When required, we or the billing provider will give advance notice before a higher renewal price or other material billing change takes effect.

Some subscriptions or purchases are processed or managed through payment providers, purchase-management services, or the app store or platform you bought them from. That provider or store may send renewal, cancellation, payment-failure, consent, refund, or price-change notices directly to you, and some changes must be accepted, managed, or canceled through that provider or store.

Promotional or introductory subscription offers may renew later at a different standard price if that later price or change is disclosed before the renewal takes effect. When required, we will identify the current price, next price, and effective date, or tell you where the billing provider shows that information.

Payments for book credits, subscriptions, or other paid features are processed by the payment provider or app store shown at purchase time. By purchasing book credits, a subscription, or other paid features, you agree to provide accurate payment information and authorize the applicable charge.

Prices may not include taxes. You are responsible for any applicable taxes, fees, or charges unless we are required to collect them.

Because book credits are digital app credits used for digital book creation, purchases are generally final and non-refundable except where required by law.

For purchases made through a native app store, billing, cancellation, renewal, refund, and price-change handling may be governed by that store's rules and account controls.

If you believe there was a billing error, duplicate charge, failed checkout, missing book credits, or other payment issue, contact us through the support form.

If your payment is reversed, disputed, refunded, charged back, declined, or suspected of fraud, we may suspend access to the related book credits, books, account features, or Service access while we investigate.

Section 7

User Content

"User Content" means information, words, names, nicknames, prompts, reading stages, story ideas, feedback, messages, and other content you submit to the Service.

You retain whatever rights you have in your User Content.

By submitting User Content, you grant Ready Already a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, host, store, copy, process, transmit, display, modify, and create derivative works from that User Content only as needed to:

  • provide the Service;

  • generate, save, display, and manage books;

  • operate your library;

  • process support requests;

  • protect the safety and security of the Service;

  • detect abuse or prohibited use;

  • troubleshoot errors;

  • improve product quality and reliability;

  • comply with law.

You represent that you have all rights and permissions needed to submit the User Content and to allow us to use it as described in these Terms.

Do not submit User Content that violates another person's rights, privacy, intellectual property, or applicable law.

Section 8

Generated Books and AI Content

"Generated Books" means books, pages, text, illustrations, titles, layouts, characters, and related content created through the Service.

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, and once a Generated Book is created and saved to your account, Ready Already grants you a perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free, personal license to keep, view, read, reread, save, print where the Service offers it, and share that specific Generated Book for your own personal, family, classroom, tutoring, educational, and internal reading-practice purposes.

This license to your saved Generated Books is yours to keep. We will not revoke it for an active account simply because we change, pause, or discontinue the Service, except where we must act to comply with law, a valid legal request, a rights-holder complaint, or a genuine safety, abuse, or fraud concern tied to that specific content or account. If we retire a feature, we will try to give you a reasonable way to keep the books you already saved.

Ready Already keeps all ownership of the Service and the systems used to create Generated Books, including the software, models, prompts, templates, workflows, brand assets, and underlying technology. Your license covers the finished books you create and save; it does not give you ownership of, or any license to, the engine, platform, or Ready Already intellectual property behind them.

You may share Generated Books with readers, parents, guardians, family members, caregivers, students, tutors, teachers, or others involved in the reading experience, using sharing features we provide.

You may not:

  • sell Generated Books as standalone products;

  • resell access to the Service;

  • publish Generated Books as commercial books or merchandise;

  • claim Ready Already's name, logo, software, or design as your own;

  • use Generated Books to train, fine-tune, or develop competing AI models or services;

  • use Generated Books in a way that violates law, privacy rights, intellectual property rights, or these Terms.

AI-generated content may not be unique. Other users may receive similar or overlapping text, ideas, images, titles, structures, or themes.

Generated Books may contain mistakes, awkward wording, incorrect details, unexpected images, or content that does not match your expectations. You are responsible for reviewing Generated Books before relying on them, using them with children, or sharing them.

We may reject, block, remove, regenerate, or limit Generated Books or User Content that appears unsafe, inappropriate, infringing, abusive, unlawful, or inconsistent with the purpose of the Service.

Section 9

Ready Already Intellectual Property

The Service, including the Ready Already name, logos, designs, software, code, interfaces, visual style, workflows, prompts, systems, features, and underlying technology, is owned by Ready Already or its licensors.

These Terms do not give you ownership of the Service or any Ready Already intellectual property.

You may not copy, modify, reverse engineer, scrape, resell, lease, sublicense, or build a competing service from the Service or any part of it, except where applicable law gives you rights that cannot be waived.

Section 10

Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • violate any law or regulation;

  • harm, exploit, target, harass, or endanger children or any other person;

  • create sexual, abusive, hateful, violent, exploitative, or otherwise inappropriate content involving minors;

  • submit content that is hateful, threatening, harassing, defamatory, obscene, or discriminatory;

  • submit content that infringes copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity, or other rights;

  • submit personal information you do not have the right to provide;

  • impersonate another person or misrepresent your authority;

  • bypass, abuse, or manipulate the book credit system;

  • interfere with checkout, payment, crediting, refunds, or account credits;

  • use bots, scripts, scrapers, or automated systems without our permission;

  • overload, disrupt, probe, or attack the Service;

  • attempt to access accounts, systems, data, or features you are not authorized to access;

  • remove safety filters, restrictions, copyright notices, or other protective measures;

  • use the Service to build or improve a competing product.

We may suspend or terminate access if we believe your use violates these Terms or creates risk for users, children, Ready Already, service providers, or third parties.

Section 11

Third-Party Services

The Service may rely on third-party providers for hosting, authentication, payment processing, native app purchase management, analytics, email, AI generation, safety systems, image generation, storage, monitoring, and other functions.

Third-party services may have their own terms and privacy practices. We are not responsible for third-party services that we do not control.

We may change third-party providers from time to time without updating these Terms, as long as the Service continues to operate under these Terms.

Section 12

Browser, App, Library, and Availability

Ready Already is primarily accessed through a browser or app experience. You are responsible for having a compatible device, browser, internet connection, and any software needed to access the Service.

We try to keep books, libraries, accounts, and book credits available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access or permanent storage.

The Service may be unavailable, delayed, limited, or interrupted because of maintenance, outages, third-party provider issues, high demand, safety review, abuse prevention, legal requirements, or technical problems.

We may modify, improve, suspend, or discontinue features at any time. If a change materially affects your paid book credits, we will try to provide reasonable notice or an appropriate alternative where practical.

Section 13

Support and Contact Requests

You may contact us for help with books, accounts, book credits, billing, accessibility, safety concerns, or product feedback through our support form.

When you submit a support request, you agree that we may use the information you provide to review, route, investigate, respond to, and resolve your request.

Support response times are not guaranteed.

Section 14

Feedback

If you send us ideas, suggestions, bug reports, comments, or other feedback, you agree that we may use that feedback without restriction, payment, or obligation to you.

This does not give us ownership of your private User Content or Generated Books.

Section 15

Copyright and Intellectual Property Complaints

If you believe content on the Service infringes your copyright or other intellectual property rights, contact us through the support form and include:

  • your name and contact information;

  • a description of the work you believe was infringed;

  • a description or link to the content you believe is infringing;

  • a statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized;

  • a statement that the information you provided is accurate;

  • your physical or electronic signature.

We may remove or restrict content that we believe may infringe rights or violate these Terms.

For copyright claims under the U.S. Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA), you may send a formal notice to our designated agent below. To be effective, a DMCA notice must include a physical or electronic signature; identification of the copyrighted work claimed to be infringed; identification of the material claimed to be infringing and enough information to locate it; your contact information; a statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law; and a statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the owner's behalf.

Designated agent for copyright notices (placeholder pending official designation): Ready Already Readers LLC, Attn: DMCA Agent, 1209 Mountain Road Pl NE, Ste R, Albuquerque, NM 87110, United States. Email: support@readyalready.org.

If your content was removed or disabled because of a DMCA notice and you believe that was a mistake or misidentification, you may send a counter-notice to the same designated agent. To be effective, a counter-notice must include your physical or electronic signature; identification of the material that was removed and the location where it appeared before removal; a statement, under penalty of perjury, that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification; and your name, address, and telephone number, along with a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal court for the judicial district where your address is located (or, if outside the United States, the judicial district in which we may be found) and that you will accept service of process from the party who filed the original notice or its agent.

After we receive a valid counter-notice, we may restore the removed material in 10 to 14 business days unless the original complainant notifies us that they have filed a court action seeking to keep the material down. Please note that under the DMCA, knowingly making a material misrepresentation in a notice or counter-notice can result in liability for damages.

We maintain a policy of terminating, in appropriate circumstances, the accounts of users who are repeat infringers.

Section 16

Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy.

The Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, share, and protect information.

Because the Service may be used with children or for children, you should review the Privacy Policy carefully before submitting information about a child or allowing a child to use the Service.

Section 17

No Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available."

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, availability, accuracy, and reliability.

We do not guarantee that:

  • the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free;

  • books will always generate successfully;

  • Generated Books will be accurate, original, appropriate, or error-free;

  • the reading level will perfectly match a reader;

  • the Service will improve reading ability;

  • your library will always be available;

  • any specific feature will remain available.

You are responsible for reviewing all Generated Books before using them with children or sharing them with others.

Section 18

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Ready Already and its owners, employees, contractors, affiliates, service providers, and licensors will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, including lost profits, lost data, loss of goodwill, loss of use, business interruption, or the cost of substitute services.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to the Service or these Terms will not exceed the greater of:

  • the amount you paid to Ready Already for the Service in the 12 months before the claim arose; or

  • $100.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations of liability, so some of these limitations may not apply to you. In those cases, liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.

Section 19

Indemnity

If you use the Service on behalf of a business, school, organization, classroom, tutoring practice, or other entity, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless Ready Already and its owners, employees, contractors, affiliates, service providers, and licensors from claims, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses, including reasonable attorneys' fees, arising out of:

  • your use of the Service;

  • your User Content;

  • your Generated Books;

  • your violation of these Terms;

  • your violation of law;

  • your violation of another person's rights;

  • your use of the Service with children, students, clients, or other readers.

If you use the Service as an individual consumer, you also agree to indemnify and hold harmless Ready Already and its owners, employees, contractors, affiliates, service providers, and licensors from third-party claims, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses, including reasonable attorneys' fees, to the extent they arise out of your violation of these Terms, your violation of law, your infringement of another person's rights, or your submission of User Content or personal information you did not have the right to provide. This consumer indemnity does not apply to claims caused by Ready Already's own conduct or the ordinary, permitted use of the Service.

For individual consumer users, this section applies only to the extent permitted by law, and nothing in this section waives any right that cannot be waived under applicable consumer-protection law.

Section 20

Suspension and Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time.

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service, your account, your library, Generated Books, sharing features, or book credit features if we believe:

  • you violated these Terms;

  • your use creates legal, safety, security, payment, or operational risk;

  • your account is involved in fraud, abuse, chargebacks, or unauthorized use;

  • we are required to do so by law;

  • continuing to provide the Service would create risk for Ready Already, users, children, service providers, or third parties.

If your account is terminated for violating these Terms, you may lose access to your library, Generated Books, and unused book credits without refund except where required by law.

If you request account deletion through the Service, we may delete or anonymize account fields, books, generated files, and child-identifying book content while retaining minimal book-credit ledger and payment summary records needed for accounting, refunds, chargebacks, fraud prevention, tax, legal compliance, and dispute handling.

Sections of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination will survive, including sections on book credits, payments, intellectual property, AI content, acceptable use, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnity, and governing law.

Section 21

Changes to the Service or Terms

We may update the Service and these Terms from time to time.

If we make material changes, we may notify you by posting the updated Terms, showing an in-product notice, sending an email, or using another reasonable method.

The "Last updated" date shows when these Terms were last revised.

Your continued use of the Service after changes become effective means you accept the updated Terms. If you do not agree to the updated Terms, stop using the Service.

Section 22

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Mexico, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.

Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Bernalillo County, New Mexico, unless applicable law requires a different forum.

Nothing in these Terms limits any consumer rights that cannot be waived under applicable law.

Section 23

General Terms

These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any additional terms we present for specific features, are the entire agreement between you and Ready Already regarding the Service.

If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest will remain in effect.

Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of our right to enforce it later.

You may not assign or transfer your rights or obligations under these Terms without our permission. We may assign these Terms in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, sale of assets, or transfer of the Service.
