What is in a finished book?
A cover and 8 illustrated story pages. The format is intentionally short enough for an early reader to finish in one sitting.
How do known words and personalization work?
The grown-up enters words the reader already knows or is learning, the reader's first name or nickname, and an optional familiar detail. Those inputs shape the story; they are not just labels pasted onto a generic book.
Can an adult read it first?
Yes. The adult sees the finished book and should preview it before sharing it with a child.

What can we try for free?
Three complete stories: one before signup and two more after the first is saved to the free family shelf. No card is required for those three stories.
What does Family membership cost?
A year is $12.99–$79.99 depending on the reader brand, which is what most families pick. Month to month is $1.99–$9.99. Both renew until you cancel, and you can manage or cancel from billing at any time. If you joined earlier at a different price, you keep it.
Is there a limit on how many books we can make?
No. There's nothing to count down and nothing to run out of. Make a book whenever your family wants one to read.

What can we do with a saved book?
Keep it on the private family shelf, reread it, continue where the reader stopped, and use the available adult print or share controls.
Where can we use Ready Already?
The branded experiences work on the web and as installable PWAs. Heheding and Alexandria Jr. are also prepared as separate native apps; each brand page shows only the store links that are actually available.
Which reading world should we choose?
Choose Heheding for playful, fast, funny first-reader energy. Choose Alexandria Jr. for a calmer, polished library feel. Each keeps its own shelf and presentation, so a family's reading world stays consistent.
Privacy, schools, and help

Does my child need an account?
No for current family use. A parent or caregiver manages the family account, checkout, books, and sharing choices. Institution-managed named-learner accounts are not open.
How is child information handled?
Use a first name, nickname, or fictional name and avoid unnecessary sensitive details. Books and shelves are private by default. Child book details are not used for targeted advertising; the Privacy Policy explains providers, retention, export, and deletion.
Can a school, library, or district evaluate Ready Already?
Adults can review public fictional samples and start a no-learner-data discovery conversation. There is no current institutional plan, paid pilot, named-learner access, or custom-program offer.
How do I reach a person?
Use the support request with the brand, device or browser, route or page number, approximate time, and non-sensitive error text. Do not send screenshots, files, story text, titles containing names, child data, credentials, or payment data. Patrick runs human support through support@readyalready.org.
