Children's privacy

Children's books stay adult-managed.

Ready Already is for adults creating books with children. Children do not create accounts, make purchases, or contact support; child details are limited to book creation and account support.

What adults control.

Parents, caregivers, teachers, schools, and other authorized adults create accounts, choose any child details to provide, review finished books, manage purchases, and decide whether to share. Finished books stay in the account unless an adult chooses otherwise.

What child details are for.

Reader names or nicknames, known words, and safe story preferences help make and support books. Please use the minimum detail needed for the reading experience.

COPPA in plain English.

For Ready Already, COPPA means adult involvement, limited child-related information, no child self-service, and privacy requests through the adult or organization managing the account.

Privacy requests.

The adult managing the account can ask for access, correction, deletion, export, safety, billing, or school support. Include the account email and the reader or book details involved.
